Wonderful family-run hotel. Moments from the sea and the boat service to the nearby beaches, as well as the promenade with its shops and restaurants. Great pool, some rooms with balconies, many with sea views. Cable TV, decent breakfast. It’s 5km from Policastro railway station on the N-S line from Napoli to Sapri. Great stay. Thanks.

We stayed at the Il Giardino hotel for a family holiday, we had a great time, it's a shame that the days flew by; Mrs. Tania made us feel at home straight away, a cheerful, kind and very thoughtful person, it was a real pleasure to meet her and talk to her. The staff were very kind and helpful, always with a smile. The room was clean, new, beautiful view. Abundant breakfast: delicious caprese and lemon cakes and especially the croissants. The beautiful swimming pool is set in a very well-kept garden, with wonderful lemon and olive trees. The hotel is very close to the sea and the center of Scario. A wonderful holiday in absolute relaxation, in short, definitely one to return to.

Hotel Il Giardino Scario: A beautiful holiday especially for one of us in a wheelchair, Tania's availability, sensitivity and ability to identify with the needs of the Fragile proved beyond all limits... even a boat excursion with Mega Tourist unforgettable! A hotel with an excellent location 50 m away from the beach and the sea, carefully clean rooms with a very helpful staff attentive to guests' needs, varied breakfast and a lovely swimming pool... what can I say? Highly recommended!!!!!

It is the second time I have stayed here and I confirm the positive impression I had from the first experience. It is a structure in a strategic position a stone's throw from the seafront and the various clubs and restaurants. Spotlessly clean rooms with elegant finishes, the beds are very large and the bathroom is equipped with every comfort. The outdoor space is equipped with a swimming pool and green corners. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. Extremely polite and discreetly available staff.

It is a structure that is suffering from age, it would need maintenance especially on the fixtures, even the fixed shower is impractical and creates flooding problems in the entire bathroom. However, these inconveniences are all largely overshadowed by the great kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, they have the extraordinary ability to make you feel truly at home and not in a hotel. Obviously the location is also strategic, literally a stone's throw from the equipped lido and the center of the village of Scario with its port, the promenade with a myriad of shops, bars and restaurants. The price of the room includes breakfast (excellent and plentiful) and reserved parking, which in a small village like Scario where hundreds of vehicles flock is an element that makes the difference between a stressful holiday and a relaxing one. We will return as soon as possible also because it is only 100 km from Potenza and even just for a weekend it can be done easily.
